ABOUT THIS COURSE

**This course is only for tax professionals who already have a M365 Copilot license. You would be required to bring your laptop to class.


This course is designed to equip tax professionals who are new Microsoft 365 Copilot users with the essential skills to improve everyday work productivity using Microsoft 365 Copilot across commonly used M365 applications (Microsoft Chat, Outlook, Teams, Word, PowerPoint and Excel).


This course is an SSG-funded course for Singapore Citizens/Permanent Residents.

Course Outline

Introduction to Copilot for Microsoft 365 and how it works

Responsible use of AI – Understand ethical and accountable use and limitations

Copilot in Outlook

  • Using Copilot for email summaries, drafting emails and coaching by Copilot.

Copilot in Word

  • Using Copilot to draft new documents, create new documents referencing existing documents, summarise Word document(s) and analyse multiple Word files.

Copilot in PowerPoint

  • Using Copilot to create presentation decks from existing documents and/ or referencing websites, summarising PowerPoint decks and adding additional slides using Copilot in PowerPoint.

Copilot in Excel

  • Using Copilot to perform tax-related functions.

Copilot in Teams and Chat 

  • To recap and summarise meetings and other day-to-day activities to elevate one’s work productivity, for example, keeping one up to date on schedules, projects, tasks and deadlines.

Course Learning Outcome
  • Determine problems in current workflows and software that Generative AI can address 
  • Track the latest advancements and best practices in Generative AI technologies 
  • Utilise Generative AI tools to tackle identified issues and enhance efficiency in specific tasks 
  • Develop a proposal to convince management to adopt the AI tools explored formally 



Pre-requisites

Participants have access to their Microsoft 365 Copilot to engage effectively in the hands-on exercises during this workshop.
